From the author: Wisdom begins with the ability to look at the same problem differently (Proverb) The world is much wider than our ideas about it. Each situation has a lot of possible solutions, you just have to “twist” it and look at it from different sides. Parable about different views on the world (taken from the Internet) Once a traveler was walking along a dusty road and around the bend, in the very sun, in the dust, he saw a man hewing a huge stone. The man was cutting a stone and crying very bitterly... The traveler asked him why he was crying, and the man said that he was the most unfortunate person on earth and had the hardest job in the world. Every day he is forced to cut huge stones, earning meager pennies, which is barely enough to feed himself. The traveler gave him a coin and moved on. And around the next bend in the road I saw another man, who was also cutting a huge stone, but was not crying, but was focused on work. And the traveler asked him what he was doing, and the stonecutter said that he was working. Every day he comes to this place and cuts his stone. It's hard work, but he enjoys it, and the money he gets paid is enough to feed his family. The traveler praised him, gave him a coin and moved on. And around the next bend in the road I saw another stonecutter, who, in the heat and dust, was cutting a huge stone and singing a joyful, cheerful song. The traveler was amazed. “What are you doing?!” - he asked. The man raised his head, and the traveler saw his happy face. - Do not you see ? I'm building a temple! We cannot change this world, but we can change our perceptions and our reactions. The world around us is full of opportunities, we just have to be flexible in order to see them. All people have to overcome various challenges. Every person who has achieved a goal knows that there will be both positive and negative moments along the way. Not giving up on your goals and values in the face of internal or external obstacles means acting holistically. The way a person views a certain situation is a kind of frame in which he, as it were, encloses the event, as he perceives it. A well-known example is when a person is asked to look at a glass of water and determine how he sees it - half full or half empty. The ability to change your attitude to a situation, or reframe, is a very valuable quality. After all, it is you who decide whether a situation is “half empty” or “half full.” If you accept the first option, you will begin to look for what is missing in your life. What is the result of such a vision? Even more “emptiness” in your life. Such a narcissistic view of life. Constant disturbing thoughts about what doesn't exist yet. And without this something that does not exist, it is impossible to feel happiness... An endless search, driven by the desire to get rid of this feeling of incompleteness. If you accept the second option, you tune in to the path of creation, moving forward. You are not thinking about a problem, you are thinking about solving a problem. A simple example: A young man, in pursuit of the image of a “successful person,” takes out an expensive car on credit. Financial affairs are deteriorating, material wealth is falling, and then quarrels with the spouse begin. She is used to a certain level of income and cannot accept the current situation. In order to improve the situation of his financial affairs, the young man takes out another loan and... his voluntary descent into the “debt hole” begins. Instead of the expected improvement, things deteriorate into an even more deplorable state. The young man leaves home and falls into an extremely difficult emotional state. He understands that he needs to work hard, but does not believe that this can bring results. He sees no way out, he constantly thinks of the situation as hopeless. He's focused on how he ended up in this position. He constantly asks himself the question: how did he end up in this situation? The result of such thoughts is a lack of energy and vitality. The question this young man asks himself is of a very poor quality. With this question he will only get stuck in)
