In our work on teaching communication and presentation skills, we place a strong emphasis on developing our voice and developing the energy of speech (or, as it is now fashionable to say, charisma). There are a number of objective reasons for such work. A well-produced voice always attracts attention. It is more sonorous, beautiful, energetic, has a rich timbre and a wide range, it is clear, clean and durable. Therefore, it is listened to with pleasure, like a well-tuned musical instrument. According to my observations, even a rather high, but well-trained male voice wins compared to a low, but neglected voice. Moreover, when working on developing your voice, its tone decreases, and this, of course, is pleasant for both your listeners and yourself. According to the results of official research by scientists, the owner of a well-trained voice is perceived as strong, self-confident, successful and sexually active. This is an archetypal reaction: the level of testosterone in the body affects the lengthening of the vocal cords and, consequently, the pitch of your voice. But it's not just about connections. A relaxed body, or more precisely, the collar area, diaphragm, stomach and legs, makes your voice calmer and lower. And a calm voice is a sign of self-confidence. Scientific fact: the sound of your voice has a greater influence on your interlocutors than the content of your speech. The voice does not affect the mind, but, let’s say, the heart. The given vote is not considered, but accepted. It penetrates into the consciousness of your listener, encountering almost no barriers. And even if you are a very “original speaker,” they will allow and forgive you a lot if you have a gorgeous voice that you want to listen to and listen to. I would like to note that a voice training course is mandatory when learning skills such as hypnosis, acting, controversial pickup and other. And increasingly, professional managers are putting their voices to work. Having a voice has “side effects.” Let me give you a couple of examples. Breathing is the support for a strong voice. When working on breathing, muscle tone of the diaphragm and abdominal breathing skills are important. One of the functions of the diaphragm is to maintain normal relationships between the thoracic cavity and the abdominal cavity. The diaphragm developed during exercises above the voice prevents the movement of the abdominal organs into the chest. And abdominal breathing, by the way, is the least tiring for the body, helps deliver more oxygen to the blood, which leads to normalization of the nervous system, acceleration of metabolism and increase in overall energy. And lastly. It's one thing to enjoy someone else's choreographed voice. And it’s quite another to be crazy about your own. Do you like your voice??
