To be honest, before 10 years ago, I took the position that our illnesses are given to us as punishment for something. I remember that I even read books about which disease is almost responsible for which “sin”. And the key here is “for what?” When I became acquainted with the topic of psychosomatics, I realized that the main thing is not “for what?”, but “for what?”. Our body is very wisely designed. And while studying this question, I had to dive heavily into anatomy again. Remember what organ is responsible for, what functions are where. Based on this knowledge, you can think about why the brain increases or decreases this or that function of the body. For example, it increases when there is additional energy due to internal conflict that has nowhere to go. The only task of the body is to live. Each organ is responsible for a specific conflict depending on its function. Our body reflects our worldview, our life. All her experiences and events. It is impossible to fall in love, as our teacher said, while your body stands aside. No, all our emotions pass through the body. But people are so accustomed to separating themselves, their minds, from their bodies, not noticing feelings, not realizing their states. That the body has no choice but to cope, as best it can, to adapt. All the tension of feeling is then lowered by tension in the body and, as a result, results in a symptom, since it is impossible to keep it. If we constantly live only with the mind, and do not hear the body, sooner or later it will remind itself. If we don’t notice that we’re tired, we’ll end up with illness, blood pressure, and headaches. And then this will be a secondary benefit of the disease - rest. But why torture yourself and your body? Just relax. Stopped needs affect health, linger in the body. Or there are also relatives who manipulate their illness, I tie them to themselves, because they are afraid, for example, of being left alone. And they do it very unconsciously, not on purpose, they don’t know how to express themselves differently. For example, in words. Illness is a signal to think and understand that my psyche could not accept. Psychosomatics is not some kind of magic or something inexplicable. Usually sounds in the context of “the doctor did not find the cause of the symptom and pain, said psychosomatics.” That is, since medicine did not understand, then this is something that was taken from an unknown source. But this is a misconception. We are sometimes afraid to react appropriately to a situation and do not show our feelings. We block the outlets of emotions. When we forbid ourselves to react to situations, a reaction begins in the body. Psychosomatics is a bodily reflection of spiritual life. Bodily manifestation of emotions. "Mirror" of subconscious processes. Why the brain triggered this or that disease. Any illness of a physical nature has a mental aspect. The reaction to this illness will differ among people depending on their character and worldview. In any case, the brain is designed to ensure that a person survives. Always. Therefore, what turns into illness is something that was not accepted and not realized by the mind and psyche. Everyone reacts differently to the same situation. And everyone gets sick differently in the same cases. Illness is a process, an attempt to adapt to the environment and search for balance. The answer to internal conflict, discomfort, lack of awareness. A healthy body is when emotions are recognized and experienced. They are not forced out. They do not move deeper and do not deny. It is important to feel your body and its signals. Even just tiredness. Don’t work too hard at work, don’t push yourself to the point of depression, don’t demand the impossible from yourself, but hear yourself. And then sleeping pills start, because for some reason the brain won’t let go of control, depression and sedatives. They are used to killing themselves, otherwise they are somehow unproductive. By the way, many people believe that a good workout in the gym means crawling out of it without strength. But sport should give energy, and not mortal fatigue... this is what the osteopath tells me every time. We do sports for health, not for injuries, right? It’s the same with everything else. My experience: I was once asked the question: “Have I experienced psychosomatics?” And.
