From the author: About unconditional positive attitude towards people Client-centered psychotherapy (CCP) is attitude therapy. The therapist’s attitude towards his client as a person worthy of respect, understanding and love in all its manifestations and conditions. The dialogue of the characters in this fragment, in my opinion, is very therapeutic. It has everything that is important in psychotherapy: understanding, acceptance, authenticity. Here you can see the establishment of live contact between people who are completely strangers to each other, when at least one of them initially treats the other with great attention, a desire to understand and respect, despite conditions that are completely unconducive to this. An unconditional (i.e., regardless of “if... then...”) positive attitude helps another person discover surprising, previously completely unfamiliar sides of himself, study them and change his life for the better in order to be truly happy . In religion, this attitude is called love for one's neighbor..
