- Your life is the result of states of mind from which thoughts and actions are born. You cannot always choose what will happen, but you can create favorable conditions for the manifestation of what you would like to fill your life with. - One of the laws of the universe is that an effect always bears the imprint of its cause, or like gives rise to like. For example, if we talk to a loved one in a painful state of mind such as anger, then the consequences of this conversation will be destructive and bring suffering. - From a state of dissatisfaction with today, negative thoughts are born that darken our present and, therefore, the future. For this reason, it is very important to cultivate a state of gratitude in the mind. - When we are grateful for what we have now, it gives us the opportunity to act in the present from a state of fullness, which lays the foundation for positive changes in the future. - It is very important to understand the difference between the word “gratitude” and a living feeling of gratitude. We can repeat the words “I am grateful” hundreds of times and still hate our present. - Here is a simple but very effective practice that will help plant seeds of gratitude in the garden of your mind: Every day, before going to bed, no matter how your day has passed, be able to find and realize ten things for which you can be grateful. These can be global things, for example, that we are alive and bombs are not falling over our heads; so do the simplest joys of life, like a delicious dinner and the purring of a warm cat on your lap. It is not the pathos of words that is important, but the state of gratitude. So don’t strive for grandiose formulations, but focus on those things and events that are truly valuable and pleasant to you. I am sure that in any day of yours, no matter what happens, there will always be ten things for which you can be sincerely grateful. Once you feel a state of gratitude inside, try to stay in it for a while. - Don’t put off this practice until tomorrow, but start today or even right now. But don’t make any special commitments, just decide to do it for seven days. If you see the result, then extend the course of cultivating a state of gratitude for another seven days. This way, gradually, new neural connections will be formed in the brain, and a very healthy habit will appear in life. - Of course, not everything in our life deserves to be a source of joy. Unfortunately, we all have difficult times. But even in a difficult period of life, you can find ten things for which we can be grateful every day. Perhaps the state of gratitude will be the ray of light that will begin changes for the better. May all living beings be happy, healthy and prosperous. May their life be easy!
