Probably, every child in the house has “incomplete” toys.. Parts of the construction set, for example, can get lost, fail, etc. In early childhood, the baby broke many of them and Now it’s unclear what to do with all this? Do not rush to immediately throw away the same “shortage”. Think about it - what does, for example, a wheel from a children's gurney look like (if it is broken)? Options: carousel, Ferris wheel... And a kaleidoscope, which no one has been interested in for a long time? Pyramids, springs, boxes - which the baby once played with? The value of a toy is determined by two things: how much the child likes it; how much it helps the child solve developmental problems. And, precisely, those same “incomplete” toys can become a good exercise for the child’s imagination. Try offering a game to a preschooler: “Let’s build a city with you (options: house, garage, store, amusement park - it’s better to focus on what the child wants)? Let’s choose materials for this.. What do you think is better to build from, for example, a house? And what will happen be located nearby? Who will we put in the house?” When offering “materials” to the child, ask: “What does this detail look like?” - try to encourage the child to use his imagination and expand his possibilities. For example: “We built a house... let’s make a playground nearby?” It is possible that instead of a playground, the child will want a pool or something else - agree. After all, your task is to push the child to creativity. Perhaps after a while you will be surprised how inventive your child can be in the game. You can build a pier, an airport, a cosmodrome - offer your child different options and see what interests him most. Tell your child about the area of human activity that is more interesting to him, and this can become an impetus for the formation of the child’s interests. Although until adolescence (11-15 years old), children are more likely to try their hand at as many activities as possible, stable interests are formed later.
