Elements of neuro-linguistic programming are used in psychotherapy and various types of training work. Thus, there is a more effective solution to problems associated with managing stressful conditions. This is explained by a certain “shift” of the focus of attention from the external stimulus to the stress reaction itself. During the active development of complex situations, for example, those that require full dedication and maximum physical and/or mental work, you can always clearly trace 3 periods: - the actual phenomenon (incident) itself; - your “feedback” to the phenomenon; - the physical manifestation of your reactions to a phenomenon. These three periods replace each other so imperceptibly that often a person does not pay due attention to them. Naturally, large-scale phenomena cannot be controlled. However, you are not only capable, but also obligated to keep your own reactions under control. By perceiving stimuli as if they are beyond your strength and capabilities, you trigger a destructive chain of stress disorder. And, on the contrary, treating stimuli with a certain challenge and deep faith in your own capabilities, you gain complete concentration and balance. As a result of an “unleashed” chain of stress disorder, symptoms such as slight chills, accelerated pulse, rapid breathing, increased sweating, digestive disorders, and the like appear. These reactions are highly individual, which is why it is so important to know your own bodily responses to stress in order to learn to recognize them in time. Exercise: “Awareness of Stress” Try to remember a recent stressful situation and your reaction to it. How did it affect you? Know that everyone has weaknesses and should not be denied. Some suffer from pressure surges. Headache, tension in the neck - these are some more symptoms of the influence of stressful situations. Write down how your body communicates stress to you. This is feedback and an important step in mastering stress management. Think about these questions: - What is the intensity of your stress? - What causes stress disorders? - Are there any recurring moments? - Do you notice signs of stress during certain periods: holidays, during travel, when starting projects? There are many reasons for stress in the world. By identifying those things that cause stress in you and are within your control, you can begin to neutralize them. Of course, no NLP or any of its elements equals quality hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy will help you get rid of stress altogether and make sure there is less of it in your life..
