From the author: Life can be improved today, here and now, thanks to past experience, which gives impetus to move on. CRISES OF LIFE Having crossed the 40-year mark, a person encounters a midlife crisis and finds himself in incomprehensible emotions and feelings. The crisis begins at the age of 40 and lasts until approximately 60 years. And everyone is faced with their own existential experiences. Some, from time to time, can be thrown from one extreme to another. We can know one person for many years as a very good, decent person, or vice versa, modest, dull and inconspicuous, simple, with a modest salary, and then he suddenly changes in appearance and behavior, and begins to live differently. In this period of life, a person’s emotional state may be unstable and depressed. He may begin to feel sorry for himself, feel empty and useless. The fear of death and illness intensifies, one becomes emotionally sensitive to others, and, of course, falls into a feeling of being trapped. For example, thoughts are like this: “I look like a freak in the mirror”; “Who would I spoil?!!!!!?”; “Horror , I have a lot of wrinkles and my skin has become loose!!!"; “I haven’t really achieved anything in this life”; “I haven’t done anything to make it different...”; “What do I even want?”; “I gave all my best years to her/him”; “I don’t want to grow old and die!!!!”; “Everything was easy before, but now...”; “U I'm depressed..."; "Leave me alone!"; OR: "I'm tired of this job, it's time to change it!"; "You are not the person with whom I dreamed of growing old!"; "I should change my image, otherwise all my life I’ve been walking around as if I’m from the Conservative Party”; “I want to change the country, travel, learn a language, change my education, go in for sports, yoga, become interested in art.” Etc. In addition to the fact that a person experiences his own changes in the soul, they also occur in beauty. But in order to maintain beauty, you need to comb not only your hair, but also your thoughts. The eyes can show you are tired of life!!! No cosmetic procedure can restore shine to your eyes and flexibility to your body. Don't fight with age, you will still lose. Better make him your ally, enjoy maturity. Take a walk, read books, do art, visualize, get a pet, travel, don't fight with politics and neighbors. Learn to notice yourself, and not just “someone else’s garden.” And I would also emphasize that mastering new psychological roles is the main task at every stage of life. Attend psychological seminars, go to a psychologist, this may be just the person who will help you see life differently. And finally, if you spend your whole life climbing ladders and cannot overcome the obstacles that appear in front of you, it means that you have placed the ladder against the wrong wall. Perhaps it's not a midlife crisis. Don't be afraid to change!
