We grew up on fairy tales, cartoons, parables, fables and they are part of our unconscious. As children, we had favorite characters with whom we identified ourselves based on the plot or personality characteristics. We wanted to be like one of the heroes of our favorite films and fairy tales, to have the same strength, intelligence, physical qualities, super abilities and other things that would help us overcome difficulties or emphasize our individuality, setting us apart from others. For research the method of fairy tale therapy is well suited to its own script and its rewriting. In the process of fairy tale therapy, 2 levels of research are distinguished: Objective - where we consider the plot of a fairy tale (as a life script). Subjective - where we consider the hero of a fairy tale (as the personal characteristics of a person). At these levels we consider , what suits us in real life, and what hinders us, and how this can be changed. Practice “The Hero’s Path”. Remember the fairy-tale hero with whom you associate yourself. Tell us about your fairy-tale hero: - What is your hero? describe 5 positive and 5 negative sides of him? - What does he associate with you? - At what age do you remember this hero/fairy tale/parable/cartoon? - Who or what can this hero be associated with? The hero's goal: - What is the hero's goal? - What does he want to achieve? - Where is he going? - Where is he now? Obstacles on the hero's path: - What obstacles does the hero encounter on the way to his goal? - What prevents him from achieving his goal? - What does he lack to achieve his goal? External and internal resources of the hero: - What should you rely on? - What or who can help your hero achieve results? - Fairytale helpers. - Fairytale attributes. Result.- How will your hero know that he has achieved his goal? What will surround him? external and internal human resources. Do not rush to answer questions. Give yourself time to remember the details of the fairy tale and images. A fairy tale allows us to connect with our inner experiences, emotions and the world of images, as well as connect our conscious and unconscious. Through a fairy tale, we can see from a third person what is happening inside us, while bypassing the surface layer of our own habitual ideas about ourselves, others and the world. If a person is stuck in some problem or scenario, a fairy tale can help him give a different perspective on the problem, see resources that will help in this situation and see a different way out of the current situation.
